Leicester City have snapped up Aston Villa central defender Curtis Davies on an initial month's loan.
The 25-year-old former West Bromwich Albion stopper has seen his career at Villa Park stall due to a number of injuries, with Davies having made just 67 appearances since his arrival in the summer of 2007.
Davies, who started his career at Luton Town, was once an England hopeful and was an unused substitute for a friendly against Germany just over two years ago.
The arrival of Davies comes a day after the Foxes drafted in Tottenham Hotspur full-back Kyle Naughton on a month's loan.
The 21-year-old has featured just four times for Spurs since his arrival from Sheffield United in the summer of 2009 and ended last season on loan at Middlesbrough.
