Leicester City boss Rob Kelly hailed the performance of striker Danny Cadamarteri after his late equaliser in the 2-2 FA Cup third round draw with Fulham.
The 27-year-old has earned a deal running until the end of the season, having seen his career hit by injury problems and a recent six-month drugs ban.
Kelly said: "He has done really, really well since he's been here. He's hungry. He knows he's not fulfilled the potential he showed as a younger player for whatever reason.
"I think he's hit an age where you mature and have a look at yourself and what you can do. I think Danny is at that stage now where he wants to give it a good go.
"He's hungry. We've got a lot of young hungry players and he adds to that mix really and wants to do well.
"He's an impact player. He's like that around the training ground. He's bright and lively and gives us something that maybe we haven't got."
