In 1997 Barry Hayles earned a move to Bristol Rovers from Stevenage. After only one season at Bristol he moved to Fullham and in his time there managed to help the club through two promotions to get to the FA Premier League. Hayles was released on a free transfer to Sheffield United in 2004 but was only there for a couple of months before his move to Millwall for a small fee.
