Win or Bust For Foxes

16 April 2013 14:40
Ahead of Leicester's last two fixtures, the Foxes Faithful had been convinced that only a win could keep them in with a chance of securing a play-off place.

However, two draws later and the Foxes' play-off fate remains very much in their own hands.

Whilst the trip to Brighton and the visit of Birmingham City were both billed as 'must-win' games, tonight's match against play-off rivals Bolton Wanderers really could prove to be City's last chance saloon.

The Foxes have been on a barren spell of late, and yet despite winning just one of their previous 13 matches, results elsewhere have meant that Nigel Pearson's men still have every chance of qualifying for the play-offs.

To do so, they will most certainly need to win all four of their remaining fixtures, starting with a tough test against high-flying Bolton Wanderers at the King Power Stadium tonight.

Bolton's impressive run of late includes eight wins in their last ten matches; a stark contrast to the winless run the Foxes currently find themselves on.

The form book leans heavily towards an away win tonight and yet, with a play-off place up for grabs, form is likely to be forgotten as the Championship's play-off chasers prepare for four cup finals.
