Wellens returns for Sky Blues clash

The midfielder missed the midweek win at Middlesbrough with a slight hamstring twinge but has resumed training. City have been dealt a blow with the news that Aleksandar Tunchev requires another knee operation. The Bulgaria international defender, who was also absent at the Riverside, only recently returned after eight months out following cruciate ligament surgery. Boss Nigel Pearson has stressed it is not a recurrence of that problem but the 28-year-old is set to go under the knife again shortly. Pearson made five changes for the Boro game after the Foxes lost their year-long unbeaten home league record to Preston last weekend, and after a first away win of the season on Teesside the likes of Jack Hobbs, Michael Morrison, Andy King, Lloyd Dyer and Yann Kermorgant stand a good chance of keeping their places in the side.
