City boss Nigel Pearson has said there is a possibility he could persuade the Black Cats to allow Waghorn to remain on loan.[LNB]The player himself would be happy to continue his development at the Walkers Stadium, especially after forcing his way into the starting line-up in the last few weeks.[LNB]"I would like to stay. It's between the two clubs and it isn't my decision, although it kind of is, but if the clubs can agree then I will be more than happy to stay and keep learning," said Waghorn. "I want to keep progressing at Leicester. It has been great here.[LNB]"In the last three games I've been starting and playing 60 to 70 minutes-plus. I feel like I'm getting fitter and I feel more like a team member, getting to know how the lads get on. It has been excellent for me."[LNB][LNB]
