Tunchev return boost for Foxes
The Bulgaria international has been sidelined since suffering knee ligament damage in an FA Cup tie at Crystal Palace in January.
However, Tunchev will not be involved in either of City's pre-season friendly games at Loughborough Dynamo (noon) and Tamworth (3pm) on Saturday.
"He is back in full training but he won't be taking part," said manager Nigel Pearson.
"Pre-season is all about making sure the players are prepared for the start of the campaign, so when it is right to play players we will field them."
