Thailand tour for Foxes

Leicester will embark upon a landmark tour of Thailand during the forthcoming international break, the npower Championship club have announced. The Foxes will fly to Bangkok on Monday and will play the Thailand national team, who are managed by former Manchester United and England captain Bryan Robson, on October 9 at the Suphachalasai Stadium. "This is a very proud moment for myself, but more importantly for the club," said Leicester owner Aiyawatt Raksriaksorn. "We are delighted to have been able to arrange this historic tour for the club. "We are very grateful to the Thailand national team for agreeing to play this friendly match and we look forward to furthering our club`s name across the Far East." Chief executive Lee Hoos added: "This announcement illustrates just how much the club has evolved in a short space of time. "The match against the Thailand national team and the other associated media and marketing activities will further develop the proud name of Leicester City Football Club, whilst providing the opportunity to expand the club`s brand."
