Sven wary over Tunchev return

Leicester boss Sven-Goran Eriksson has played down the possibility of recalling Aleksandar Tunchev to the starting line-up against Nottingham Forest on Friday. With Sol Bamba out due to a hamstring problem Eriksson could turn to 34-year-old Tunchev, who has featured for the reserves in recent weeks upon his return from 18 months out with a knee injury. Eriksson told the Leicester Mercury: "He is getting closer and closer. He is training on a regular basis. I don't think he will be ready to face Forest on Friday, but it is early so we will see on Thursday. "But I am not sure we would give him a fair chance. I don't think he is far away but he hasn't played for such a long time. "It is not that easy coming in at the end of the season, and he has only played five or six reserve games. I think he would be better off having a pre-season and I don't think it is fair. I don't think he expects to play at all. "We have Ben Mee, Jeffrey Bruma and Miguel Vitor, and we will decide which combination to go with on Friday."
