New boss Sven-Goran Eriksson warned his Leicester side they must step up their work rate to succeed in the npower Championship. The former England manager spoke after his first competitive game as Foxes manager ended in a 1-1 draw at home to Hull. Leicester raced into a second-minute lead when Matt Oakley fed Andy King whose shot from 12 yards beat Matt Duke at his near post, but Hull levelled after 52 minutes when a low shot from Robert Koren bounced over the outstretched arm of Chris Weale. Eriksson said: "It was a game of two halves. We started the game very well. "We played good football and scored early on and created other chances. But in the late first half and second half we couldn't control it like we did in the first half. We lost the ball and put ourselves in danger. "It was a game we could have lost, so maybe 1-1 is a fair result. We must work and keep our energy for 90 minutes, which we didn't do."
