Sven rues dropped points

Sven-Goran Eriksson has admitted his 'regret' that Leicester may have to win all their remaining Championship games to force their way into the play-offs.

The 4-0 home win over Burnley on Saturday revived hopes of a late burst into the top six but City still have it all to do with six matches left.

"We still have a chance but, realistically, we have to win almost every game and there are regrets because my feeling has been for a long time that we should have had better results," said Eriksson, whose side are six points adrift of the play-offs.

"We still have the chance and the important thing is that we go on as we did against Burnley on Saturday. That was one of our best games, especially in the second half. We played mature football and didn't take any risks or concede stupid goals.

"I think how we have played this season that we should have more points, but that is our fault. We have made too many mistakes and we have a lot of young players who need more experience and the only way they get that is by playing."
