Sven calls for player silence

Leicester boss Sven Goran Eriksson admitted his side had to learn to hold their tongues regardless of their frustrations after the 3-3 draw at Middlesbrough. The visitors' fighting spirit showed itself in seven yellow cards and a red for Jeffrey Bruma 13 minutes from time. He picked up a second booking for dissent following a controversial penalty decision when a Julio Arca shot hit the Leicester man as he tried to turn his back on the piledriver. Eriksson said: "Players should not talk to the referee and should not discuss with him any decisions. I will talk to the referee when he comes off. "If players argue with the referee they will get booked. Some of my players need to be reminded of that. "I'm not defending them - but the changes have to come from the top, from FIFA. So long as players are allowed to protest up to a certain point then they will do that. They will react. And that certain point is not always the same. We need consistency. "We were disappointed to lose a two-goal lead but also surprised and relieved that even though we only drew we have improved our position in the league."
