Leicester midfielder Andy King impressed Wales manager Gary Speed during the Euro 2012 qualifier against England. In the absence of Gareth Bale, King was given the responsibility of trying to fill the Tottenham star`s boots on the left wing. Speed thought the 22-year-old performed well in an unfamiliar role, saying: "He has played there a couple of times and he is good at that. "Obviously, with losing Gareth, we didn't have a natural wide left player but I thought he did well. "It was difficult for him, obviously, especially in the first half the way England played and closed us down. He didn't get much joy but he ran his heart out."
