World Cup star Bernard Parker scored for Leicester City's reserve team yesterday to cap off an impressive performance for Chris Powell's side. The Foxes reserves recorded a respectable 2-2 draw against Aston Villa's second string at the Premier League side's training ground and trialist Parker did his cause no harm with a solid display. The 24-year-old - who played for World Cup hosts South Africa in the summer - looked sharp in attack alongside Matty Fryatt, who scored the Foxes first goal of the contest. Two Nigerian trialists - attacker Danny Uchechi and midfielder Paul Obiefule - were also given a chance to impress in yesterday's run out. Coach Chris Powell said of the team's performance: 'I thought they all did well as a team. 'Matty Fryatt took his goal really well and I thought all three of the trialists performed well under the pressure of the situation they were in. 'They expressed themselves and were all very competent and now we have to decide who we want to add to our squad.' Powell added.
