New boss Paulo Sousa will give Leicester`s players time to impress and not rush into making new signings. The Portuguese was appointed as manager on Wednesday, succeeding Nigel Pearson on a three-year contract. Sousa wants to assess the squad he has inherited before he makes any changes. "I need some time to understand better the squad I have and start to organise it," said the 39-year-old. "I don`t like to change too much, especially when things are going well. "I want a better balance in the squad and of course better quality maybe in some positions."
