Leicester manager Paulo Sousa tipped DJ Campbell to finish as the top scorer in the npower Championship despite the striker drawing a blank against Middlesbrough.
The Foxes were held 0-0 at home by Gordon Strachan's side, giving a display which nevertheless satisfied Sousa.
He said: "I think it was a good performance. There were moments in the game when we played some brilliant football."
And Sousa singled out Campbell, who helped Blackpool win promotion last season, for special praise.
The former Portugal midfielder said: "DJ is massively important to us. He was unlucky not to score from the three chances he had.
"For me, in this league, he can be the best goalscorer. He has a lot of energy and enjoys his game. Hopefully DJ will be here for a long time."
