Sousa in buoyant mood

Boss Paulo Sousa has urged Leicester supporters to remain patient as they continue to search for the first league win of the season. The 3-0 defeat at Burnley on Saturday left the Foxes second from bottom of the Championship table. Sousa repeated his pledge to get the club into the Premier League within two years but again conceded it may not happen this season. "Burnley have had more time together and it makes a difference. The majority of our players have had one year working in one way and I have added two or three players to improve the quality," said Sousa. "But we are developing a team that will win more than it loses. "The fans need to keep their belief and keep supporting us and, if they reflect a little, they will see we are close to the best." The Portuguese added: "I said first to (chairman) Milan (Mandaric), then the new owners and then the fans we will be in the Premier League in two years and we will fight to do that this season. Will we arrive there? Probably not but we will do everything to be there this season."
