Solano awaits international clearance

The Foxes are hopeful they will receive international clearance in time for the late kick-off on Saturday. The hold-up has been caused by delays at the Peruvian FA.[LNB]Solano, who had two spells at Newcastle between 1998 to 2004 and 2005 to 2007, has been training with Leicester for the last week.[LNB]Veteran defender Chris Powell could make his first home appearance of the season for Nigel Pearson's side. The 40-year-old made his first Championship start of the campaign in the defeat at Barnsley on Tuesday night.[LNB]Regular left-back Bruno Berner is still out with the calf problem he sustained against Sheffield Wednesday in mid-December while his deputy Ryan McGivern was dropped after struggling with form in recent weeks.[LNB]Berner is back in training but it remains to be seen when he will be involved again following such a long absence.[LNB]Kick-off in the East Midlands is at 5.20pm.[LNB][LNB]
