Schlupp targets Bees loan extension

Leicester striker Jeffrey Schlupp is aiming to make such a big impressing during his loan spell at Brentford that the League One club extend his stay. The 18-year-old moved to Griffin Park on a month-long deal the same day he signed a new contract with the Foxes, which will keep him at the Walkers Stadium until 2013. Schlupp is eager to stay with the Bees for as long as possible but will have to make an immediate impact as the loan transfer window closes next Thursday. "Leicester told me to go out and get some experience and games under my belt. I've been in the first-team squad a few times, but not played," he told the Ealing Gazette. "I wouldn't mind staying here for the season but it would obviously have to be sorted out next week, so hopefully I'll get a chance to prove myself on Saturday."
