Rovers would consider selling stars

Chairman John Ryan fielded a bid from Leicester for Ritchie Wellens last month and hinted he could sell the midfielder for the right price, while also opening the door for clubs to bid for Brian Stock and Matt Mills. The club have confirmed they have yet to receive further offers for any of their players but will consider any that come in. "As for players leaving, it's mostly speculation with no offers and no-one speaking to Sean," said a statement on the official website. "The club policy is that we are not a selling club but would not stand in the way of a player if he could move up as long as the deal was right for Doncaster Rovers. "All players want to play at a higher level but hopefully they will want to stop and do that here with this club."
