Rensing, who played over 50 times for the German champions, spent a trial spell with the Foxes after his contract expired at the end of last season.
However, he told tz: "I have decided that joining Leicester City is not the best option I have."
Rensing has not played for Germany`s senior side, but has been capped at Under-21 level.
