:: Jamie Vardy has had a hand in more Premier League goals than any other player this term, with the Leicester forward scoring 24 goals and providing six assists. The 29-year-old scored in a record 11 successive Premier League matches between August 29 and November 28.

:: Sergio Aguero became the fifth player in Premier League history to score five in a single match in Manchester City's 6-1 defeat of Newcastle on October 3.

:: West Ham bid farewell to Upton Park after 2,398 matches and 112 years at the Boleyn Ground, with their final match ending in a 3-2 win against Manchester United.

:: Aston Villa saw their 28-year stay in the top flight officially end with four matches of a miserable campaign remaining, coming during a run of 11 successive defeats.
