Pearson's Future In Doubt As Ince Tipped For Foxes Job

Paul Ince is the latest manager linked with a move to the King Power Stadium, as speculation about Nigel Pearson's future continues to grow with just six matches of the Foxes' faltering Championship season remaining.

Whilst many newspapers are speculating about Paul Ince's potential arrival at the club, the Blackpool boss is unlikely to feature at the top of many fan's wish lists as Pearson's potential replacement.

However, the Foxes' promotion push has broken down in recent weeks, following just one win in the last 11 matches, and Pearson’s job looks forever at risk.

Talking of his team's sudden collapse, the City manager said: "I want my players to take a lot more responsibility for their performances. At the moment it is clear to see we have a number of players out of sorts and out of form.”

Whilst some sections of the Foxes Faithful would happily give Pearson the chance to rescue his team's season and realise their Premier League dream, in the aftermath of one of the worst runs in the club's recent history, the majority of fans, it would seem, would welcome a managerial switch sooner rather than later.

One thing is for certain, whilst there are just 18 vital points left to fight for this campaign, the roller coaster that is the Championship shows no sign of stalling. Strap yourselves in; it may be a rough ride!
