The 19-year-old has impressed since joining City at the start of the season, scoring four goals and forming a good partnership with Matty Fryatt.[LNB]But Waghorn's form has not escaped the notice of Sunderland boss Steve Bruce, who may choose to keep the forward at the Stadium of Light when his loan expires in January.[LNB]Waghorn has already expressed his wish to stay at the Walkers, and Pearson told the Leicester Mercury: "That is one we are exploring.[LNB]"I think he has done very well for us. Certainly, in terms of his development, that is good for Sunderland. But, of course, the flip side of that is that if he does so well for us he may be recalled.[LNB]"We are very pleased with his progress. I know he is enjoying his football and I think he is playing well for us so, hopefully, we can get that sorted out."[LNB][LNB]
