The Foxes had already clinched the title with a 2-0 win at Southend last weekend but defender Michael Morrison netted twice on Friday night to ensure a share of the spoils for Pearson's men, while Scunthorpe responded through Paul Hayes and a Grant McCann penalty[LNB]"I'm delighted for everyone connected with the club," said Pearson. "We achieved our goal of gaining promotion at the first attempt so it's good to celebrate what we've achieved.[LNB]"Obviously I would rather have won the game but the draw means we've gone through the season with just one home defeat. We've gone up as champions and that is important to us so we can take that confidence into next season."[LNB]Pearson also pledged that his side would give it their all in next weekend's game at Crewe.[LNB]"We can't relax yet, because that wouldn't be right," he added. "Our last game at Crewe will have vital consequences for sides fighting against relegation and we owe it them to give it our best go."[LNB][LNB]
