Pearson makes his point after draw
Striker Steve Howard scored twice against his former club either side of Joel Porter's equaliser for the hosts on Tuesday night.[LNB]It seemed the Foxes had done enough to secure all three points but Andy Monkhouse brought Pools level again in injury-time.[LNB]Pearson said: "We didn't really get going until the second half but we still did enough to win the game. We are all disappointed that we haven't seen it out and got another win, but it is a point and we move on from there.[LNB]"Credit to Hartlepool, who worked hard to make it difficult for us and of course we are used to teams raising their game when they play against us because we are top of the table, the team they all want to beat.[LNB]"But we got a point in a difficult game and we will take that and look to our next fixture."[LNB][LNB]
