Pearson blasts referee after draw

The League One leaders were ahead 2-1 against Carlisle in injury-time when Oliver appeared to be about to whistle for a Carlisle infringement inside the Leicester penalty area. Leicester's defenders expected to be awarded a free kick and stood off, but instead the referee changed his mind and allowed play to go on for Scott Dobie to take advantage and convert Michael Liddle's cross with a free header. The 2-2 draw sees the Foxes' lead over second-placed Peterborough reduced to just two points. Pearson raged: "I asked the referee about it and he didn't even have the courtesy to look me in the eye. It was a good performance and I felt we did enough to win the game but I am disappointed to drop two points so late on. "We had enough chances to win - there was only one team out there trying to win, and that was us. Other sides are having better runs than us at the moment, but I'm very, very confident we'll see the job through."
