No rush for Matty return - Pearson
Fryatt has yet to feature for City in pre-season due to a leg infection, but Pearson is going to be cautious with last season's 31-goal top scorer.
"Matty has got quite a nasty leg infection," Pearson told the club's official website.
"Although he trained with us last week in Slovenia, since he has been back he is unfortunately on a second dose of antibiotics so we have to see how he is.
"It is a bit frustrating that he has not been able to take part in the games so far but we still have a bit of time left."
