No City return for Micky

Port Vale boss Micky Adams has played down speculation linking him the vacant manager's job at former club Leicester. Vale chairman Bill Bratt had previously stated he was confident Adams would remain at the club despite him being touted as a possible successor to Nigel Pearson, who left Leicester to become manager of Hull earlier this week. Adams, who guided Leicester to promoted to the Premier League in 2003, is also unfazed by the rumours and is instead putting all of his focus on preparing for the 2010/11 campaign with the League Two side. He told The Sentinel: "I don't comment on speculation. I am Port Vale manager and my focus is on preparing the team for the 2010/11 season."
