Defender Michael Morrison has completed his transfer to Sheffield Wednesday in a move which further disrupts the Foxes backline. The 22-year-old today joins the League One promotion chasers for a fee of £250,000. Morrison had started the Foxes last three matches but, with Eriksson showing real intent in the transfer market, the defender has opted for a move that he feels will guarantee him more regular first team football. He said: 'I don't want to sit on the bench. I want to play regular first team football and I know that can't be a promise anywhere but I just want to be playing.' The defender, signed for City by former boss Nigel Pearson, also blamed the introduction of two new signings - Sol Bamba and Ben Mee - on his final decision to depart the Walkers Stadium in search of a new challenge. 'It is up to the manager (Eriksson) in terms of what plans he has but he hasn't brought them in to sit on the bench.' He added.
