Vardy worry for champions-elect

Jamie Vardy remains a doubt for Premier League-bound Leicester as the promoted Foxes look to take another step towards clinching the Championship title against Brighton.

Leicester's return to the top flight after a decade-long absence was sealed on Saturday following defeats for QPR and Derby. Nigel Pearson's side had beaten Sheffield Wednesday at home the previous night in a game which Vardy missed because of a groin injury.

There is no need for the 16-goal striker to be rushed back and he may continue on the sidelines at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday night along with long-term absentee Zoumana Bakayogo (knee).

Foxes boss Pearson has plenty of options should he wish to make changes to his team with defender Liam Moore, midfielders Dean Hammond, Andy King and Lloyd Dyer and strikers Gary Taylor-Fletcher and Kevin Phillips ready to be called upon.

Rohan Ince remains doubtful for Brighton's trip.

The midfielder missed Saturday's goalless stalemate at Barnsley with the dead leg he sustained in last week's 3-3 draw at Blackburn.

Right-back Bruno completes a two-match ban for collecting 10 bookings while wingers Will Buckley (hamstring) and Andrea Orlandi (thigh) are set to miss out again.

Striker Craig Mackail-Smith made a welcome return as a late substitute at Oakwell after 13 months on the sidelines with an Achilles injury and should be involved again.
