Leicester manager Paulo Sousa is set to hand a debut to defender Michael Lamey when his side face Middlesbrough. The 30-year-old former PSV full-back played 45 minutes for the reserves at Quorn FC in midweek and will come into the side after receiving international clearance. On-loan Benfica defender Miguel Vitor lasted only 12 minutes on his comeback in the reserves after suffering a recurrence of his thigh injury and is set to have a scan. Forward Paul Gallagher played 65 minutes of the 4-3 Carling Cup win over Macclesfield in midweek after a thigh problem and is in contention while Aman Verma will be hoping for a league bow. Long-term absentee Aleksandar Tunchev remains definitely out as he continues to struggle with a persistent knee problem.
