Kisnorbo making steady progress

The Australia international suffered ligament damage after only five minutes of the Foxes' FA Cup first round victory over Stevenage.

City assistant manager Craig Shakespeare said: "We won't rush him back. He is still a few weeks away from training and four to six weeks away from playing. He is one we are monitoring at the moment."

Meanwhile, Shakespeare revealed that Kisnorbo's countryman Paul Henderson is nearing a return to action.

The goalkeeper has also been ruled out since November with a groin problem but could come back into the reckoning at the start of next month.

"We have to be careful with the injury, but hopefully he will be back sooner rather than later," Shakespeare added.
