Howard relaxed over goal drought

The 33-year-old Leicester frontman has gone 11 games without finding the net for the Foxes but he is happy with the way he is playing. "It can affect strikers but it is not weighing on my mind," he told the Leicester Mercury. "I know it happens and it has happened at periods during my career, and it will happen again, but you just have to get on with it. "I would be panicking if I wasn't getting chances because I would be doing something wrong. The chances are there but I just need one to go in off my backside. I am happy with the way I am playing and, as long as the gaffer is happy, then I am happy." Speaking ahead of Saturday's visit of Preston, the veteran Geordie also reserved praise for strike partner Matty Fryatt who is flying this term with eight goals in 10 appearances. "I am over the moon for him," added Howard.
