Gallagher wants run in Foxes team

The 25-year-old came off the bench to score his first goals for the club in midweek, with his brace handing the Foxes a 2-0 home win over Crystal Palace. And Gallagher is hoping that will be enough to earn him a place in the starting line-up against Reading on Monday night in his preferred role as an out-and-out striker. "I haven't really spoken to the manager because the games have been coming thick and fast and you need to focus on your game," said Gallacher. "I played in the hole against Peterborough and in the first half at Watford, and I thought I did all right, but the manager picks the team and he gives us the instructions. It is then up to us to stick to them. "I want to kick on now and get as many goals as I can for the club, on a personal note, and get the team as far up the table as possible."
