Foxes set to unveil Sven

Leicester have called a press conference for Sunday morning at which they are expected to unveil Sven-Goran Eriksson as their new manager. The former England boss was at the 3-1 win over Scunthorpe at the Walkers Stadium after being targeted for the vacancy by Foxes owner Milan Mandaric. Swede Eriksson is set to replace Paulo Sousa, who was sacked on Friday with the club languishing at the foot of the table. Coaches Mike Stowell and Chris Powell took charge today and oversaw a result which moved the east Midlands club up to 22nd place. Eriksson has been out of work since managing the Ivory Coast at the World Cup in South Africa, where they failed to reach the knock-out stages. Prior to that, he had a seven-month spell as Notts County's director of football, having managed Mexico's national team from June 2008 to April 2009.
