Foxes braced for Celtic battle

Alex Cowdy, the player's agent, has indicated that Cox would favour a move to the SPL over the Foxes after revealing that both clubs have had offers for the 22-year-old rejected by the Robins. City chairman Milan Mandaric last week went public with his admiration for Cox, who scored 32 goals last season, while Swindon manager Danny Wilson admits the striker could leave the County Ground this summer. "As far as I understand there have been two offers put to Swindon that have been rejected - an offer from Celtic and an offer from Leicester City," Cowdy told Sky Sports. "The Swindon chairman (Andrew Fitton) has come out in the press and said that Simon remains a Swindon player and it is going to take something special to get him away from the club and I think he values Simon at around £2.5million. "But Simon has made no secret that he would like to play at the highest level and Celtic come into that bracket."
