Foxes boss hopeful on strikers
Howard sustained a hamstring injury during Tuesday's 1-1 draw at Bramall Lane and was replaced after just 11 minutes by fellow frontman Waghorn.
Waghorn also strained a hamstring and was forced off in the 79th minute, leaving Pearson to face an anxious wait to see if they will be available this weekend.
"Both came off with hamstring injuries," said the Foxes manager.
"We had only one last season and now we had two in one game."
