Foxes all fit and raring to go

The Foxes take on Blackpool at the weekend and have not had a fixture for nearly two weeks, giving the club's injured players the chance to make a full recovery. The break could not come at a better time for the Midlands club, who played seven times in 24 days prior to the internationals. It has allowed strikers Steve Howard and Martyn Waghorn to clear up hamstring problems and City should go into the clash at the Walkers Stadium with no injury concerns. Shakespeare told the Leicester Mercury: "In a way, it is frustrating but turning it into a positive it also gives us a chance to get one or two injured players back into the squad to help strengthen us." City will be looking to avoid a third consecutive defeat against the Seasiders and Shakespeare added: "We hope there will be a freshness about us going into the game."
