Eriksson running rule over trialists

Trialists Bernard Parker and Danny Uchechi appear unlikely to be offered deals at Leicester. City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson is set to hold talks with Dutch club FC Twente over South Africa striker Parker and is considering following up his interest in Nigerian winger Uchechi. However, Eriksson is unsure whether they are better than the players already at the club and the Swede insists any moves will come down to money. "We want to know the cost of it because I am not sure these guys will improve the starting XI, but they might make the bench better," Eriksson told the Leicester Mercury. "Because of that it depends on the cost, and we will be talking with FC Twente about that. We will also talk with Danny to see what the package is. It will probably not happen, maybe for neither of them, because it depends totally on the cost. "I am looking for players who can go straight into the first-team because otherwise there is no point in spending money. We are looking for players from the top level."
