16 November 2009 09:11
Dickov is on loan at Pride Park until January and has scored once in nine appearances since linking up with the Rams before the close of the summer transfer window.[LNB]He is enjoying his time with Nigel Clough's side and is waiting to discover whether his stint with Derby will be extended in the New Year.[LNB]"I'm loving it here," Dickov told the Derby Evening Telegraph. "If somebody had told me when I started out that I would still be playing first-team football at 37, I would have snapped their hand off.[LNB]"I am playing and really enjoying it. I feel as fit as I have done in a long time.[LNB]"It's no secret I enjoy it here. I knew a lot of the lads already and I get on well with everybody.[LNB]"What happens in January is something other people are saying to me more than I am thinking about myself.[LNB]"I am probably halfway through my loan. I have just got to concentrate and get a run of games under my belt. I have started the last three and I need to get more games before I even start thinking about January.[LNB]"As long as I am playing and involved, everybody knows I will be giving my all."[LNB]He added in the Derby Evening Telegraph: "I said when I first arrived I still feel I have a lot of football in me, a lot to offer still. I just wanted a chance to prove it. I have had a chance to get in the team and thankfully I am doing OK but I still feel as if I can get better.[LNB]"I am probably halfway through my loan. I have just got to concentrate and get a run of games under my belt. I have started the last three and I need to get more games before I even start thinking about January. As long as I am playing and involved, everybody knows I will be giving my all."[LNB][LNB]
