Berner pens new Foxes deal
Leicester defender Bruno Berner has signed a new one-year contract.
The 33-year-old Swiss left-back had resigned himself to leaving the Walkers Stadium after a lack of first-team opportunities this season.
However, an injury to Greg Cunningham has seen Berner come back into the team and he has now performed a u-turn.
"He is a great example to young players. I told him I want to keep him. In training he is so professional, works hard every day and never creates any problems," City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson told the club`s official website.
"His recent form has been impressive and he has shown his strengths with some very accomplished performances."
