Wise wants nasty Whites

New Leeds United manager Dennis Wise has told his players that they need to put the frighteners on opponents if they want to avoid relegation.
The Whites are currently languishing in the Championship drop zone and Wise wants to see more battling spirit when they take the field.
"I want them to be a bit like the Leeds of old - horrible," said the former England midfielder.
"I want a bit of nastiness and togetherness. I have explained that to them.
"The fans get behind them, they are fantastic fans and the other night when we had lost 3-1 they were still singing.
"I said 'come on lads these fans are trying to help you and you just need to give a bit more'."
Wise has also moved to assert his authority in the Elland Road dressing room by stripping Paul Butler of the captaincy and handing the armband to Kevin Nicholls.
The former Millwall and Swindon manager added: "It was important for me to make a younger up-and-coming player the captain.
"He was captain at Luton and has a bit of bite about him and that's what I want."
