Wise looks at trialists

Leeds United boss Dennis Wise has handed trials to three players as he looks to strengthen his promotion-seeking squad.

Slovakian goalkeeper Maros Marzec and Norwegian players Jesper Halvorsen and Stian Kleven are currently training with the rest of the United squad.

Meanwhile, Wise could bring Jamie Clapham back to the club in the January transfer window on an 18-month deal.

The Wolves player's agent, Alex Black, told the Yorkshire Evening Post: "Jamie enjoyed his time with Leeds and if there's an opportunity to go back there in January, then it's certainly something he'd look at closely."
