Wise issued with warning

Leeds United caretaker-manager Dave Geddis has warned new boss Dennis Wise that he faces a massive challenge to turn around the fortunes of the ailing Elland Road club.
Wise and his assistant Gustavo Poyet were unveiled as the club's new management team on Tuesday, but after watching the 3-1 Carling Cup defeat to Southend from the stands he has been given a warning by the man at the helm for those disappointing 90 minutes.
"Anybody who came to this club in the situation we are in, with the confidence so low, has got a massive job on their hands," said Geddis.
"But they have been brought in and all the players will have to get behind them.
"They will have had a good look at the side here, maybe the failings of the players and not the positives.
"But there are a lot of games to go in the league and realistically the play-offs are not a problem - if they can raise their game.
"Momentum has to pick up sometime because it can't get any worse."
