Whites suffer injury blows

Leeds United have been rocked by the news that Gary Kelly and Kevin Nicholls both face spells on the sidelines with respective foot and knee problems.
Kelly suffered a suspected broken metatarsal and Nicholls damaged knee ligaments during Saturday's disappointing 4-2 defeat at West Bromwich Albion.
Whites' caretaker boss John Carver said: "Gary will go for X-rays but we think it is a broken metatarsal.
"As far as Kevin is concerned, the grass was long and he has caught his bladed boots in the grass.
"Once the rain came down, there were six or so players who were slipping all over the place. I want my players fit and, if that means changing their footwear, then so be it."
Meanwhile Carver has scotched suggestions that he has been offered the chance to succeed Kevin Blackwell on a permanent basis at Elland Road.
He said: "It's not true I've been given the job. I've spoken to the chairman and all he's told me to do is get on with it.
"He's not told me anything other than that about the job and I'm not listening to anything which comes from the outside."
