Leeds United are hot on the trail of Birmingham City forward Robbie Blake, having made an £800,000 bid for the former Burnley skipper.
The 29-year-old moved to St Andrew's in January for £1.25million from Turf Moor, but scored just twice in 11 appearances for the Blues.
City boss Steve Bruce confirmed: "We have had an offer from Leeds for Robbie Blake. We are considering it and talks are ongoing.
"Robbie has done very well for us, but he feels he wants to play more and at Leeds he would probably play every week."
Blake spent three years with Burnley, having earlier had spells with Bradford City and Darlington and a loan stint with Nottingham Forest.
