Warner could provide keeper cover for Leeds

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson may offer Tony Warner a short-term contract in a bid to ease his current goalkeeping crisis. The 36-year-old is set to play a reserve team game for United against Scunthorpe's second string and may be handed the chance to start the first-team match against Middlesbrough on the substitute's bench. Kasper Schmeichel and Shane Higgs are both currently injured and are unlikely to feature at the Riverside Stadium. Grayson is expected to start with Jason Brown in goal on Teesside. Brown recently extended his loan stay at Elland Road from Blackburn Rovers for a second month. Former Fulham and Cardiff City shot-stopper Warner is a free agent after leaving Charlton Athletic at the end of last season.
