United secure O'Brien deal

Leeds have secured the permanent transfer of defender Andy O'Brien from Bolton.United chairman Ken Bates revealed ahead of the New Year's Day match against Middlesbrough that a deal has been agreed for O'Brien to join on a two-and-a-half-year contract.The 31-year-old is currently on loan from the Trotters and has made 10 appearances.
