Leeds United boss Dennis Wise has handed a one-year deal to Rui Marques and also snapped up the former Southampton midfielder David Prutton.

Prutton joined the club on a trial basis in July and has played in several of United's pre-season friendlies.

Meanwhile, youngsters Tomi Ameobi, Scott Gardner, Ben Parker and Gavin Rothery have all penned 12-month contracts with the League One side.

Matt Heath, Curtis Weston, Leon Constantine and Casper Ankergren all agreed deals with United earlier this week.
